Hi Lorna and friends Some sad news I am afraid - Frank Cunningham has recently passed away in Spain. Frank was 74 years old and husband of 53 years to our dear friend Maureen the great wee scots lass with a unique voice and treasure trove of her own compositions. Many will recall that Frank most enjoyed the Yew Tree at Cauldon Lowe and sometimes accompanied Maureen on her other folk adventures. When he retired from a lifetime in the RAF he continued a long active retirement working at the Star Caravan Site, Cotton in the summer and enjoying winter sun at their van in Murcia Spain. Maureen has been out in Spain sorting out their affairs and hopes to be back in her home in Shrewsbury this week. I know she will be grateful for all the love and friendship that her folkie friends will give her when she brings her tales of cludgy making back to these shores. God bless Frank, welcome home Maureen. -- Malcolm Hawksworth Phones - Personal -0780 552 9492 For Titanic Brewery business 0770 236 8989 Check out - http://www.manifoldfolk.co.uk/ | ||
