You will see that it will take place, very appropriately, on the banks of the River Mersey at the National Waterways Boat Museum, Ellesmere Port (alongside the M53) motorway) and has a fantastic array of Shanty singers and performers. The principal guest artists will include HUGHIE JONES and BOB CONROY (USA) with performers from the Netherlands and at least 20 other groups, plus talks, stalls and exhibitions. Admission for the whole three days is only £6 with concerts taking place on the Saturday and Sunday evening at a charge of £8 each. I ask on behalf of the organisers if you would be so kind as to publicise this large event to all your punters . www.shanty.org.uk has all the info. Many thanks in anticipation. Best regards, John Owen Secretary - Folk North West | ||
