Lymm Folk Club Weekly News 02-03-2011 LAST WEEK : Tom Kitching and Gren Bartley gave us a lively night at the Spread last week!! Bernard, Stewart and Nelson Peach provided the support, but Gloria was unwell, and couldn't do her Pre-Raffle-ite Floor Spot' after all… fortunately Anne Cojeen was happy to jump in and save the day!! THIS WEEK: Singers Night… PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE AT THE SARACEN'S HEAD, WARBURTON! NEXT WEEK: Roy Clinging - Thursday 10th March, Spread Eagle. FOR YOUR DIARY: Tickets are also on sale for our St. Patrick's Special with Tony Gibbons and friends (Thursday 17th March, Rugby Club). Tony will be bringing Chris Kelly and Kate Bradbury. Chris, from Carlow in Ireland, was one of the original residents at Maghull Folk Club back in the 1980s. Tony and he played together in a group called Cairde Ceol, and they also did a few folk club gigs as a duo. Kate, of course, is Tony's partner - a fine fiddle player, guitarist and singer-songwriter.
