Happy St. Patrick's Day friends! Warm wishes from the home of all things Irish in London. Have a great St. Patrick's Day wherever you are. BBC's The One Show came to shoot our sold-out Damien Dempsey gig on Friday where they interviewed some of the hundreds of young Irish in attendance. They also took to the Gaelic pitch with our new Gaelic football club on Saturday morning. Watch it from about 7:30mins in at this link: http://goo.gl/XN3HX. We had a BLAST at the Mayor of London's Festival at the weekend. We had almost fifty people on the float, including a troop of musicians, and we partied the day away in Trafalgar Sq. See Facebook photo galleries at http://goo.gl/lMmSe and http://goo.gl/97VC8. Of course our own premises is jam-packed with Irish festivities at the moment too. If showbands and bacon and cabbage are your thing, join us tonight. Details at http://goo.gl/kGKu. We'll also have a street team at the Imelda May gig in The Roundhouse. Come say hi. We also have two upcoming vacancies: Director and Volunteer Coordinator. Details at http://goo.gl/Vw4F. In other news: The census is just around the corner. Please tick the Irish ethnicity box and give the government and decision-makers and accurate measure on our huge community. Video: http://vimeo.com/21074328.
