Hi Wally and Lorna

I hope this note finds you both well (or should I say all four of you).  How are those adorable looking dogs.

Could you please, when you next send out your folkie information, mention a special event we have at the Crown at Worthing, near Standish, Lancashire on Friday 6 May.  It is a benefit concert for Norma Waterson.  The concert will start at 8 p.m. with guests, Quartz, Brian Peters and Bernard Wrigley.  Tickets are £10 and can be booked in advance. (Cheques to be made out to 'Foolish Friends') For all further details if you could give my email address and phone number that would be wonderful.  As you can imagine the family are going through a really tough time at the moment.  We're not that far away from some of your contacts.  They have great food at the Crown (as you know) a wonderful selection of real ales and there is even B&B if people really wish to make a night of it.  (Dan doesn't mind the odd campervan overnight in the car park either).

Many thanks and take care of yourselves

Love Angie and Ken

NB - the latest on Norma is that she has recently been transferred from Warrington up to Middleborough, so at least Martin can be at home and family can all visit more easily.  Progress is being made and Norma has now taken a few steps.   Lots more prayers, wellwishing and positive thoughts are still needed.          Lorna

Tickets are £5 from 01538 385260 or the pub. If any tickets are available on the night, they will be £6.

Of course, Herbs and Leekies will be your resident artists.

The price of the tickets includes a raffle so you may just have a great time and take home a prize.
