Mim's 2011 visit to the UK

Hello everyone,   Happy New 2011, a new year, a new decade. I hope that all is well with you and that 2011 brings all good things.   Speaking of which I am battling to get a tour together - most clubs seem to be down to 10 guest nights a year and there's a lot of great musos out there.   What is going through my mind is to do some "Lounge" concerts - in my friends houses, with their friends and passing round the hat. It's an idea that has taken off here, varies between a dozen to 40 depending on the size. In this kind of intimate atmosphere, no sound system is needed, and you get really close up and personal.   What thinkest thou ?   We're having the same problem with getting numbers into existing theatres, which are very expensive to hire. Lots of venues opening and closing at the drop of a hat, so these house concerts, where it's all up to the artist and hosts, seem to be the answer.   Please don't lose touch, I miss you,   Love, as always,
