Ramsbottom Cricket Club

The Ramsbottom Festival is the north west's newest boutique festival taking place just 12 miles from Manchester City Centre. Friday night features Stax Record's Steve Cropper, virtually involved in every record issued by Stax from 1961 to1970, his co-writing credits include (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay, Knock on Wood and In the Midnight Hour. Joining sixties R&B outfit The Animals, Friday night gets off to a soulful start.

Saturday's line up includes Guillemots, Young Knives, Badly Drawn Boy and Cherry Ghost to name a few. The festival also boasts an impressive array of folk and roots acts on Sunday with The Waterboys, Capercaillie, Michael McGoldrick and Bellowhead's Sam Sweeney.

Festival goers can also enjoy a host of foodie delights as well as delicious real ales from local brewers Outstanding who are producing an exclusive Ramsbottom Festival ale.
