Friday night features Stax Record's Steve Cropper, virtually involved in every record issued by Stax from 1961 to1970, his co-writing credits include (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay, Knock on Wood and In the Midnight Hour. Joining sixties R&B outfit The Animals, Friday night gets off to a soulful start.
Saturday's line up includes Guillemots, Young Knives, Badly Drawn Boy and Cherry Ghost to name a few. The festival also boasts an impressive array of folk and roots acts on Sunday with The Waterboys, Capercaillie, Michael McGoldrick and Bellowhead's Sam Sweeney.
Festival goers can also enjoy a host of foodie delights as well as delicious real ales from local brewers Outstanding who are producing an exclusive Ramsbottom Festival ale.
