P.s. For those who haven't been to one of my solo concerts, I've now got a biog - dead posh he!

Biography
Stewart Lever

" Singer, songwriter, naturist & dreamer" is what it says on his website. But he promises that he'll keep his clothes on for his performances! And he tells me that photo on Facebook of him, playing at the beach bar in Fuerteventura, he has definitely got a sarong on!
A singer, songwriter & gifted guitarist with a smile that is warm & welcoming. His smile draws  ever person in the audience to be his friend."Your music brought the happiness back."
His songs are very personal.
He started writing songs after his wife died (YOU SHOW THE WAY & SKY KISSES)..and later songs about the environment (COMPOST ROT & MAY GAIA HOLD YOU).
He has a huge fan club of under ten year olds(!) & he usually warns people if he's going to sing FINICKY FROGS. It's dangerously addictive - once heard never forgotten, even if you want too!
His guitar style developed from his love of ragtime, Bert Jansch & Martin Carthy/Nic Jones. He particularly enjoys what you can do with DADGAD.
He was the Organiser of Lymm Folk Club (www.lymmfolkclub.org.uk) until 2010 when he decided to spend more time on the road, sharing his music.Take a look at his website www.stewartlever.co.uk for information about his albums & clips of audios & videos or hisFacebook page. There's even some of him composing songs on the rocks on Fuerteventura, wearing nothing else but his guitar!!
