Cheshire Folk - Folk Set In Sandstone

Dear Folks,    Exciting news !   ''Cheshire Folk" are a newly formed group of professional festival and event organizers, singers and musicians who are keen to promote and support 'Live, quality music and musicians across Cheshire and beyond.   For this brand new venture in 2011, "Cheshire Folk" promoters have some really exciting gigs and venues lined up amongst the Cheshire countryside, canals and towns.....AmandaLynne Music is delighted to be part of this venture. Please join us !   'Folk Set In Sandstone', Folk music and dance on the beautiful Cheshire Sandstone Trail opens with a ceilidh with caller Ralph Smethurst and Madcap on April 29 (as an antidote some may say to the royal wedding celebrations) followed by the brilliant Ric Sanders Group on April 30 playing jazz swing and folk. Ric you may know is Fairport Conventions' fiddle player. Both events at Bickerton Village Hall will be preceded by sessions. I have to be there at 1pm to stock up the bar and kitchen so decided we should have a pre ceilidh and concert warm up session while getting ready. The sessions are free and we will have refreshments ready at some point after 1pm ! There are spaces for 20 caravans or campervans and event ticket holders will have priority over these. Campers in tents may try nearby at The Bickerton Poacher or The Olive Grove. Please let me know if you would like to attend the sessions.
